To create a structured community and credible resource for individuals at Syracuse University (SU) or SUNY-ESF who share a passion for biotechnology. There is a gap in the information regarding what biotechnology is, why students should pursue biotechnology, and what a career in biotechnology looks like. This organization hopes to bridge that gap and provide the tools that its members may need to succeed as a prospect of the biotechnology field. 

 

   This organization will also offer professional development opportunities in the form of leadership roles, public speaking, teamwork, and new connections through networking. 

 

   As an inclusive community and informational resource, this organization welcomes any individual interested in biotechnology, regardless of their field of study.
